Simultaneously, in Isfahan, Qazvin, Chalus, Qasr-e Shirin, Amol, Rasht, Mahabad, and Langarud mass demonstrations and strikes were held in the honor of the martyrs.

In Karaj, west of Tehran, people continued their protest in different parts of the city after the memorial ceremony of Hadith Najafi. Other cities of Alborz province also witnessed widespread clashes between the people and the suppressive forces. The outraged youths overturned number of State Security Forces (SSF) vehicles and set them on fire. The youth blocked the roads in some areas and clashed with the SSF. In some areas, the SSF abandoned their vehicles and ran away. At several places, the suppressive forces opened fire on the demonstrators. The regime’s helicopter was flying over the city.

In Khorramdasht of Karaj, a large crowd took to the streets, and youths torched two state-owned banks. In Hesarak of Karaj, widespread protests took place and people were chanting, “Death to the dictator.” The SSF was dispatched to confront the protesters.

On Thursday, the state-run Tasnim News Agency, affiliated with the terrorist Quds force, reported, “During today’s riots near Behesht Sakineh in Karaj, one Basij paramilitary force was killed, and 5 members of SSF were wounded, two of whom are in critical condition.”

In a video message, Mahsa Mogoei’s father said: “What had my daughter done wrong except protesting with bare hands, but you opened fire on her? Did she deserve to be killed and buried after winning more than 100 sports medals?”

In Qazvin, northwest Tehran, a large crowd attended a memorial ceremony marking the 40th day of Javad Heydari’s martyrdom. People protested, chanting, “Mullahs must get lost,” “We did not sacrifice souls to compromise and praise the murderous leader,” and “Basij mercenaries! This is your end!” In Chalus, suppressive forces prevented people from gathering at the cemetery to commemorate Amir Hossein Shams’s martyrdom. However, the people protested outside the cemetery chanting anti-regime slogans.
