Maryam Rajavi: Clerical rule will eventually fall by people’s uprising

NCRI – Iranian Resistance’s President-elect Mrs. Maryam Rajavi lauded the Iranian people for their uprisings in Tehran and other cities throughout the country on Tuesday, March 1.

Maryam Rajavi: The Iranian people’s chain of uprisings chanting ‘Down with Khamenei’ show that the clerical rule cannot contain the uprising and will eventually surrender to it.

She added that the protesters bravery and people’s solidarity with them in various parts of Tehran helped free the arrested youths from the clenches of the Revolutionary Guards forces. Tehran’s courageous youths set fire to Khamenei’s portraits illustrating the resolve of the Iranian people to overthrow the regime in its entirety and establish democracy in their country, Mrs. Rajavi asserted.

She further added, the Iranian Resistance has time and again strongly condemned intimidations and restrictions against Messrs Moussavi and Karroubi by the ruling faction and Khamenei himself, and holds Khamenei accountable for any aggression and cruelty against them, their families and associates, or their detention and terrorist acts committed against them.

Mrs. Rajavi called on all governments and international bodies to pressure the mullahs’ regime to release those detained in yesterday’s uprising along with all political prisoners, and lift all cruel restrictions and restrictions imposed on them.
