Defiant Youths Target Regime Centers on the Anniversary of Iran’s Great Uprising in Support of Dr. Mossadegh’s Resistance Against the Detested Former Dictator, the Shah, on July 21, 1952

On the anniversary of Iran’s momentous uprising on July 21, 1952, in support of Dr. Mohammad Mossadegh, the leader of Iran’s National Front, defiant youths targeted 30 centers associated with the repressive Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps and the judiciary system, as well as regime-affiliated seminaries in various cities. They set ablaze images of the despised figures Khomeini, Khamenei, and Qasem Soleimani, as well as centers of repression and espionage.

Additionally, defiant youths set fire to the regime’s judiciary buildings in Qazvin and Ardabil, the so-called Imam Hossein Garrison of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Karaj, the Salman Garrison of the IRGC in Ahvaz, and the IRGC Basij centers in Bushehr and Ilam. Explosions echoed through these areas.

Furthermore, they set fire to the suppressive Basij bases associated with the IRGC in Tehran, Tabriz, Yazd, Kerman, Semnan, Andimeshk, Dezful, Chalus, and Jam (Bushehr). The ominous images of Khomeini, Khamenei, and Qasem Soleimani were also burned in Tehran, Qom, Kashan, and Shiraz, along with the signs of garrisons named after Imam Hossein in Iranshahr and espionage bases of the Basij and the Ministry of Intelligence in Shiraz, Tabas, and Chalus.
