Since this morning, various parts of Tehran have been the scenes of demonstrations and clashes between people and youths with suppressive forces. The protests took place in different districts of Tehran, including Naziabad, Nezam Pezeshki in front of Tehran University, Lalezar, Amir Abad, Hashemi, Chirag Bargh, Kashani Bazar, Computer Bazar, Sahreverdi Street, Hafez Bridge, Abbas Abad, Valiasr, City Theater Metro station, Shariati, Delavaran Blvd., Ferdowsi Blvd., Hervie Square Aladdin shopping mall, Saadi Street, and Geisha.

Demonstrators were chanting anti-regime slogans such as “We are all Mahsa, fight and we will fight back,” “Death to the dictator,” “Death to Khamenei,” and “This year is a year of sacrifice. Seyyed Ali (Khamenei) will be overthrown” “Freedom, freedom, freedom,” “IRGC commits crimes, the leader supports,” “I will kill whoever killed my sister,” “Death to the Supreme Leader after many long years of crimes,” and “We don’t want a child-killer government!”.

At the same time, shopkeepers and bazaars in Tehran closed their shops and stopped working, including in Lalezar Bazaar, Iranshahr, Baharestan, Computer shopping mall, Amin Hozour Bazaar, Chrragh Bargh, Kashani, Nowruz Khan, Bin al-Haramein, Sarai Melli and Bagh Sepahsalar.

Meanwhile, many university students in Tehran, including Tehran, Sharif technology, Melli, Science and Technology, Khajeh Nasir, Al-Zahra, and others, held demonstrations and protests. The Basij and suppressive forces attacked and fired tear gas and pellets against the students at Melli, Al-Zahra, the dormitory of Tehran, and other universities.

The students confronted the suppressive forces and, in some places, forced them to retreat.

The anti-riot unit attacked the doctors’ rally in front of the building of the National Medical Organization. Several protesters were injured and wounded. In response to this suppressive measure, the vice president of the National Medical Organization resigned.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), said that today, across Tehran, from students to Bazaar merchants and doctors; people have shaken the pillars of Khamenei’s rule with chants of “Death to the dictator.” The era of the criminal mullahs has come to an end; they cannot evade their inevitable overthrow.
