Iran: Tehran University lecturers join student rally

NCRI – According to reports by the Social Headquarters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) inside the country, hundreds of Tehran University students continued to protest for the eighth day running. They protested the presence of State Security Forces in the university, detention and suppression of students.

A number of university lecturers also joined student protest held outside the Technical School. Also, people gathered in streets nearby the university to support students’ protest.

The State Security Forces stationed in streets around the university are preventing students from passing the area.
