NCRI – In order to frighten the population and suppress the people’s nationwide uprising, the mullahs’ regime has brought in tanks and armored-vehicles in various parts of Tehran including in Vali-Asr Square.
NCRI – In order to frighten the population and suppress the people’s nationwide uprising, the mullahs’ regime has brought in tanks and armored-vehicles in various parts of Tehran including in Vali-Asr Square.
Some 1,000 armed members of the Revolutionary Guards have been positioned in the vicinity and on the way to Rezaiha (Haft-Tir) Square to prevent people from joining the protestors. The Guards prevent anyone from stopping in the area or crossing in the middle of the road. Local residents are forced to give their exact address to be able to go to their homes. The Guards have arrested anyone they find with cameras, and the cameras are confiscated.
