NCRI – Chanting slogans against factory's management, Sugar Cane Factory workers gathered in the industrial complex on their 28th day of strike.

They shouted, "Workers will die but will not give to humiliation," "Our monthly salary is our inalienable right" and "Job and life are our inalienable rights." Several thousands of protesting workers marched toward the building of the factory's management.

To prevent any fabrication of files against workers by the factory's security, the workers refused a request by the management to send their representatives for negotiations. They said that they would only accept the management's offer if all workers could attend.

The intelligence and security agents of the clerical regime have enforced a reign of fear and terror in the factory.

On Wednesday, May 28, the agents of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) kidnapped one of the activists and held him in a solitary confinement of the MOIS prison in Shoosh until Saturday. He was beaten up and threatened to death.

The Iranian Resistance once again calls on all labor organizations and unions in particular the International Labor Organization (ILO) to condemn anti-labor policies of the regime and suppression of the Iranian workers. It also calls for support to the workers just demands and removal of all restrictions against them.
