Iran: Strikes, Protests, Nightly Demonstrations Continued on 53rd Night of Uprising

NCRI logoOn Monday night, November 7, the 53rd night of the nationwide uprising, various districts of Tehran and other cities witnessed nightly demonstrations, blocking roads with lighting fire and clashes between the youths and the suppressive forces. In Tehran, the slogan “Death to the dictator” echoed from the windows of the homes in South Qaitarieh and Bagh Feiz. In the Second Square of Sadeghiyeh, the regime dispatched a Guard Special Unit on horseback to confront the people. In the Gohardasht neighborhood of Karaj, people chanted slogans against Khamenei from the windows of their homes.

In Zanjan, the defiant youths set fire to a suppressive Basij base. In Sanandaj, nightly demonstrations took place in different parts of the city, and the youths blocked the roads by lighting fires. The suppressive forces fired air volleys at people’s homes. In Saqqez, nightly demonstrations started from Moalem Square, and people in different parts of the city blocked the streets by lighting fires and chanting “Death to the dictator.” The suppressive forces opened fire on the protesters.

In Marivan, Mahabad, and Bukan, people staged nightly demonstrations and lit fires in the streets. In the Darsiran neighborhood of Marivan, a fierce clash broke out between the people and the regime’s forces. The youths destroyed Basij’s base in Kani Dinar. In Babaheydar city of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, people staged protests and blocked the road while chanting, “Mullahs must get lost.” In Fil Abad, Chaharmahal, and Bakhtiari, a large propaganda banner of the regime was set on fire.
