Iran: Revolutionary Guards puts hospitals near mullahs’ Majlis on alert today

ArchiveIran – Nationwide uprising – Statement 138

NCRI – According to information received, the mullahs’ regime has put all of its suppressive and military and non-military organs on alert today to suppress protests scheduled for today against the inauguration of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in various parts of Tehran including in Baharestan Square and opposite the regime’s Majlis (Parliament). On Tuesday, the Revolutionary Guards issued a directive to hospitals near the mullahs’ Majlis, saying: “Bearing in mind that the President’s inauguration will be held on Wednesday in the Majlis, it is necessary for hospitals to be on alert to receive those injured.”

This directive clearly indicates that this suppressive force has prepared itself to crackdown on the protestors. In the course of the nationwide uprising over the past two months, the criminal Revolutionary Guards have put pressure on medical staff in hospitals and forcefully kidnapped injured patients and taken them to the regime’s various prison or torture centers.
