Iran: Protests and clashes outside Iranian regime’s parliament

Nationwide uprising in Iran – Statement 45

This afternoon, groups of people from throughout Tehran gathered outside the Iranian regime's parliament in protest. Many of the protestors held photos of Neda, the young Iranian girl who was killed on June 20th.

The regime's suppressive forces try to disperse the assembly by attacking the protestors and using tear gas particularly in streets leading to the regime's Parliament.

According to reports clashes and protests have also broken out in Sadeghieh and Vanak Squares, northern Tehran.
