On February 11 and 12, on the anniversary of Iran’s anti-monarchic revolution, and on the eve of the clerical regime’s parliamentary election charade, Resistance Units throughout Iran have posted images and messages of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), and Mr. Massoud Rajavi, the Leader of the Iranian Resistance, in several locations in Tehran, including the Imam Ali Expressway, Moniriyeh and Shariati streets, as well as in other cities including Karaj, Qazvin, Mashhad, Tabriz, Isfahan, Andimeshk, and Lahijan.
The banners read:
- My vote: regime overthrow
- Long live the PMOI/MEK, death to the oppressor, be it the Shah or the Leader (Khamenei)
- Rise up to overthrow the absolute religious rule, our vote is to overthrow
- Down with Khamenei, long live Rajavi
- Regime will not halt our uprising with murder and arrests
- No crown and no turban, clerics, your days are over, hail to Rajavi
- Down with Khamenei, November Uprising continues
- Boycott of regime’s election charade is our patriotic duty
