In the Kianpars district of Ahvaz, southwest Iran, local youths held a nightly demonstration, chanting, “Death to the dictator.” In Bandar Abbas, southern Iran, and Sanandaj, western Iran, people took to the streets, chanting, “Death to the dictator.” In the city of Nimvar in Markazi Province, brave girls and boys held a nightly demonstration chanting, “You are lewd; I am a free woman.” Bushehr, southern Iran, was the scene of the demonstration, and the defiant youths staged protests in the Pedel region of Bandar Langeh, southern Iran, by lighting fire and chanting, “Death to Khamenei” and “Shame on our leader (Khamenei).”

On Friday, despite the regime’s repressive measures, the ceremonies to mark the 40th day of martyrdom of Shirin Alizadeh in Isfahan, Kan’an Aghaei in Karaj, Mohammad Hassan Turkman in Shahin Shahr of Isfahan, and Abdul Salam Qadir Galvan in Oshnavieh were attended by large crowds chanting anti-regime slogans.
