February 11 Uprising – Statement no. 21
NCRI – The courageous people of Tehran continued the heroic February 11 uprising on the anniversary of the 1979 revolution well into the night. At 22:00 local time, people in Tehran took to their rooftops to chant “God is great,” “death to dictator,” and “Khamenei is a murderer, his rule is illegitimate.” The nightly acts of protest had wider dimensions in the areas of Gisha, Shahrak Gharb, Ferdowsi Square, and Amir Abad.
