Courageous Youth in Shahr-e-Ziba Area of Tehran Protest Against Regime with Slogans
“Death to Khamenei”; “We swear on our compatriots’ blood that we stand to the end!”
On Wednesday, April 5th, a large number of brave youths gathered in Shahr-e-Ziba in Tehran to commemorate the anniversary of Hamid Reza Rouhi’s martyrdom. They started to gather and march in front of his residence from the beginning of the night, chanting “Freedom, Freedom, Freedom” and slogans such as “Death to Khamenei,” “Death to the dictator,” “Down with the child-killing regime!”, “Khamenei, you murderer! We will bury you!”, “We swear on our compatriots’ blood that we stand to the end!” and “This is the last message: the regime itself is the target.” These gatherings continued until late at night. Demonstrators burned photos of regime leaders and propaganda banners.
Hamid Reza Rouhi was killed on November 18, 2022, in the Shahr-e-Ziba district by direct fire from repressive forces.
