NCRI – The social headquarters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran inside the country revealed that the regime’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, paramilitary Bassij Force, and other state bodies are using millions of fake identity cards or IDs of dead people to rig the election.
The report said that agents of the Bassij in the districts of Tajrish, Pounak, Jannat-Abad, Eram Park, Shariyati Street, Sohrevardi, and Resalat Highway of Tehran have provided Afghan workers and people without identity cards with IDs and some money to encourage them to vote in favor of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
The level of vote-rigging and use of fake ID cards or those of the dead is much greater in smaller towns and rural areas. Therefore, the regime’s officials and state media have announced that in many villages, voter participation was greater than 90 percent.
