NCRI – This afternoon, widespread clashes are continuing between protestors and suppressive forces, including the Revolutionary Guards, paramilitary Bassij, plainclothes agents, and State Security Forces, in many parts of Tehran, especially in the vicinity of Tehran University. Suppressive forces are arresting young people in various parts of the capital.

At around 15:00 a large crowd was moving toward the dormitory of Tehran University in Kargar Street chanting, “My martyred brother, I will avenge your blood,” “Coup d’état government, resign, resign,” “Political prisoners must be freed” and “Victory is close, death to the deceitful government”.

At 15:30, suppressive forces tried to prevent people moving between Ferdowsi Square and the University of Tehran. The route from Jomhouri Square to Enghelab street and square has also been sealed off. People are moving toward Mellat Park.
