NCRI – The Iranian regime’s agents seek to disperse protestors by firing live rounds of ammunition and tear gas at Vanak Square and its surrounding streets, including Molla Sadra. Despite of that, intense clashes and hit and run continue between the arisen people of Iran and suppressive forces. In many instances, people have courageously advanced and forced groups of regime agents to retreat.

At Vali Asr Square, the clashes between people and agents have been intense. People chant, “Government commits crimes, leader supports it,” and “honorable Iranian, support us, support us.”

More than 4,000 protestors gathered in one of the streets in Arya Shahr district. This morning, the people of this district set aflame a bus that had brought pro-regime elements from Oroumieh to Tehran. At the same time, the State Security Forces (SSF) attacked with tear gas some of the people that were carrying placards which had “referendum – referendum” written on them.
