NCRI – Thousands demonstrated in Tehran’s Toupkhane Square today in memory of Grand Ayatollah Montazeri chanting “Death to dictator,” “death to Khamenei,” “Moharram (Lunar month used by Arabs and Muslims) is the month of Bloodshed, Khamenei will be brought down this month,” “victory is imminent,” and “political prisoners must be set free.”

Mullahs’ regime blocked all streets leading to Toupkhane in an attempt to prevent people from joining the demonstration. Nevertheless, people joined the demonstration from Lalezar Street which was the only entrance left open to the location.
