NCRI – Anti-riot brigade of Greater Tehran’s State Security Forces (SSF) was put on alert on Saturday to counter workers and local residents’ protests, according to intelligence from within the regime. Battalions from this brigade are stationed in various parts of Tehran as follows:
Forces from 3rd brigade stationed from morning till noon at Vanak Square. They were moved to Enghelab Square in the afternoon as it was planned. 4th battalion stationed in 7-Tir Square (known as Rezaii-ha Square). 5th battalion in Nazi Abad and 7th battalion at Tehran’s SSF Headquarters in Marvdasht Street.
All Bassij and SSF forces from different Tehran districts have been on alert since Friday, April 30.
