Nationwide uprising – Students Day – No. 6

NCRI – Students in Chamran University of Ahvaz, southwest Iran, staged protest outside School of Development and building of the medical institute. They clashed when agents of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) brutally attacked them. The intelligence agents arrested 15 students.

In Yasuj, southwest Iran, some 300 students demonstrated carrying placards which read “Down with dictator,” “Students will die but will not give in to humiliation” and “Detained students must be released.” Suppressive forces are deployed outside the university preventing people from joining the students.
