Iran: Anti-regime demonstration in Zanjan chanting “Down with dictator”

NCRI – On Thursday December 24, city of Zanjan has been the scene of anti-regime protests. Protesting people who had gathered in Zanjan’s Jame Mosque to participate in Ayatollah Montazeri's mourning ceremony, have spilled into the streets. The mourning crowd was chanting "Down with dictator" and “Allahu-Akbar.”
Special units and other suppressive forces that are stationed in various parts of the city including the Jame Mosque try to disperse people by attacking and beating them. A number of people have been arrested in these clashes.
