Iran: Amid Nationwide Uprising, No One Benefits More from the Terrorist Attack in Shiraz Than the Clerical Regime

NCRI

The ISIS claim of responsibility for the inhuman attack in Shiraz is suspicious. Unless otherwise proven, like many other previous cases, it must be assumed the mullahs’ regime was behind the incident.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), expressed her condolences to the people of Shiraz and the Iranian people over the shocking and inhuman massacre of innocent pilgrims in Shah-Cheragh, in the city of Shiraz.

The ISIS claim of responsibility for the inhuman attack in Shiraz is suspicious. Unless otherwise proven, it must be assumed that, like many other previous cases, the mullahs’ regime was behind the incident. The 30-second video clip that the terrorist Quds Force’s telegram channel hastily posted when the attack began further casts doubt on the narrative put forth by the regime.

Today the Iranian people’s nationwide uprising reached one of its highest peaks as people and youths rose up in at least 62 cities, including all major cities, 61 universities, and 35 Bazaars. Tehran was the scene of people expressing outrage and protest. In this context, no one benefits more from this inhuman attack other than the clerical regime, the IRGC, and its desperate intelligence apparatus. Regime’s Parliament Speaker IRGC Brig. Gen. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf described the Shiraz attack as the “final ultimatum” to “those who, by creating unrest, set the stage for the enemy’s conspiracies.” Interior Minister IRGC Brig. Gen. Ahmad Vahidi added, “The riots are moving into a dangerous path. The rioters step aside, and the security officials will exercise greater strength to protect (deal with the protests)”

Mrs. Rajavi called on the people of Shiraz and all Iranian people to rise up and protest as much as possible against this inhuman regime.
