NCRI – The mourning ceremony on Wednesday to commemorate martyrdom of Imam Hossein, Shiite third Imam, in various cities of Iran turned into the scene of expressing abhorrence toward anti-Islam and inhuman regime of mullahs.

In Isfahan, the Bassij suppressive forces attacked the mourning ceremony. In return, the people confronted them while chanting ‘Death to dictator’ and “Oh Abulfazl (Imam Hossein’s warlord), get rid of Khamenei”.  Immediately a number of vehicles of State Security Force (SSF) entered the scene and arrested at least ten people. A 23-year-old woman who was beaten severely was taken to hospital.

In Varamin, brave people smashed a candelabrum from which the pictures of Khamenei and Khomeini were hanged and tore up the pictures.  Last night at 21:00, a group of agents who had been dispatched to the streets were punished by the people. The people shouted their hatred toward the religious dictatorship by chanting ‘Death to dictator.’

In Taleghani Ave. of Rasht, the people, while chanting ‘Death to dictator’, engaged with a number of regime’s intelligence agents who were making trouble for some women at night under the pretext of mal-veiling. Three people were injured and one of the agents was punished by local residents.

Last night in Shahr-e Kurd, a group of Dervish who were carrying the photos of their leaders was attacked by the SSF agents.

At 7:30 pm, in Vanak square, people booed security forces who were taking off the flyers that called for demonstrations; people chanted, “security forces get lost”.

At 9:00 pm, a group of mourners in Ferdowsi Square were met with the obstruction of the security forces. Angry people protested by giving the slogans of “the blood of Hossein is boiling”, “death to dictator” and “Allahu Akbar.”
