Hit and run and scattered clashes in different parts of Tehran

Six motorcycles of IRGC and Bassij agents were set on fire and a number of agents were punished

NCRI – On Monday, February 14 most districts of Tehran including Enghelab Ave. and sq., Keshavarz Blvd., Abbas-Abad, Yousef-Abad, Eskandari, Forsat, Behboudi, Khosh, Ghods, Karoon, Hashemi, and Navvab Avenues were the scene of demonstrations and clashes between the people and the suppressive forces.

In streets heading to Enghelab sq. the angry crowd chanted “Death to Khamenei”, “Death to Dictator”, and “Khamenei should understand he will be overthrown this time”.
 
The agents of IRGC, Bassij and State Security Force as well as plain-clothes agents hit the vehicles belonging to the people on their path and smashed their windows. They beat and wounded the people and threw at them pepper and tear gas. A number of demonstrators were injured in the brutal raids of regime’s agents.

In clashes between regime’s agents and demonstrators in Sarsabil Street, a number of agents’ motorbikes belonging to the so-called ‘Al-e Mohammad’ Brigade were set ablaze and a number of the agents were beaten up by the people. Some protestors were also injured. Three motorcycles of the Bassij agents were set on fire in Navvab-Sasan Intersection.
 
In Beryanak and Navab district an intense clash happened between demonstrators on the one hand and motorbike forces of Al-e Mohammad Brigade and the Basij forces of Meqdad district on the other. The Basij force from Meqdad district harshly suppressed protestors in various places. At least ten people were arrested in Navab.
