Nationwide uprising – Ashura 4
NCRI – Chants of “Death to Khamenei” can be heard from many areas across Tehran. Protests and clashes have spilt over to Keshavarz Boulevard and Vali Asr Square. Special Units are brutally attacking people and trying to disperse them.
At 12:40 local time sounds of fire arms could be heard from Vali Asr Junction. The regime’s agents are smashing windows of cars that are honking their horns. By 15:00 local time Clashes extended to areas near Cinema Africa in Vali Asr Street.
In northern Karegar Street people rushed to Laleh Park when Bassij agents and Revolutionary Guards attacked them. Groups of women had gathered in Laleh Park between 8 and 12 noon chanting anti-regime slogans.
Intense clashes are going on between people and suppressive forces in Enqelab Square and sounds of fire arms can be heard from there. In streets leading to Enqelab Square people are chanting slogans and clash with State Security Forces and Special Units. In these clashes windows of some cars and public places have been shattered.
