NCRI – Tehran residents who had gone to Park-e Shahr for the occasion of the Day 13 of the Iranian New Year known as Sizdeh-be-dar staged anti-regime demonstration adjacent to Bab Homayoun Street chanting “Down with Khamenei” and “Khamenei is a murderer, his rule is illegitimate.” Protesters clashed with suppressive forces and resisted their attack.

Clashes in Shaqayeq Park in Narmak district of Tehran spilt over to adjacent streets. At least eight people have been arrested in these clashes. Two young protesters were hurt when the agents sprayed toxic gas into their eyes.

In Azadi Square, 20 motorcyclist agents of the regime drove into protesting crowd to disperse them. Other groups of agents attacked people with iron bars. Five are reported to have been arrested and two injured.
