March 1 Uprising – No. 5
NCRI – In the city of Shiraz, at Namazi Square and Molla-sadra Street, people demonstrated chanting “Death to Dictator” and “We are all together”. Suppressive forces attacked protesters arresting eight youth.
In various sections of Tehran demonstrations and clashes continue in the night.
At 18:45 protesters clashed with security forces in Navvab Street.
Around 19:30 at Vale-Asr Square and Vesal Shirazi and Jamalzadeh streets suppressive forces arrested great number of people who were marching or had gathered. At least five Vans were used to transfer the arrestees to an unknown location. At Enghelab Square suppressive forces arrested 50 protesters.
