In protest at the crackdowns of the February 14th uprising and commemorating its martyrs, the brave Iranian people staged numerous demonstrations in cities throughout the country.
The people of Sanandaj (western Iran) are on strike with the bazaar and stores are closed all over the city.
Demonstrations and clashes with suppressive forces along with anti-government chants are continuing in Tabriz (northwestern Iran) at Sa’at Square and Abresan Ave.; in Esfehan (central Iran) at Enghelab (Revolution) Square, Shiraz Gate and 33 Bridge; in Shiraz (south-central Iran) at Mulla-Sadra Avenue and Intersection.
In Rasht (northern Iran), protesters are clashing with the regime’s agents chanting “Down with Khamenei”.
In Hamedan (western Iran), Bu-Ali University students staged a protest rally chanting anti-government slogans.
In Shahroud (east of Tehran), Azad University students commemorated their fallen martyr Mohammad Mokhtari, hacking the university website and placing a poster of Mokhtari and Sane Zhale along with calls for demonstrations and protests on February 20th on the website.
