NCRI – According to Social Headquarters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) inside the country, anti government demonstrations are going on is various cities across Iran.
In Abresan Street of Tabriz (Capital of Eastern Azerbaijan province) people who were encircled by state security forces were chanting “People why are you sitting, Iran has turned into Palestine” and “Long live Tabriz.”

In Abresan Street of Tabriz (Capital of Eastern Azerbaijan province) people who were encircled by state security forces were chanting “People why are you sitting, Iran has turned into Palestine” and “Long live Tabriz.”
In Zanbil Abad district of Qom, people in their large numbers clashed with the State Security Forces and they have used tear gas and batons to suppress the people. Sounds of gun shots have been heard in the city. The streets are full of the regime’s agents and there is a kind of martial law atmosphere in the city.
In northeastern city of Mashad, the demonstrators who were marching from Taghi Abad towards the University despite being attacked by the regime’s agents and many of them being arrested, continued with their demonstration and chanting slogans.
In Esfahan, the agents of the State Security Forces attacked demonstrators in Enghelab Street opposite Sanati (Industrial) University and trying to disperse the crowd by firing tear gas. People are chanting loudly “Allahu Akbar.”
Esfahan University is under siege and the security forces have been stationed in the university since last night.
In Shiraz, a large crowd is demonstrating in “15 Khordad Street.”
