Demonstration started in Ressalat Sq. and Motahhari Ave. with chants of “Death to Dictator”

March 1 uprising- No. 1

NCRI – Around 2:00 p.m., the protest rally started in the Ressalat sq. in Tehran. The people have blocked with their vehicles the State Security Force (SSF) from entering the area.

Also in alleys and streets leading to Motahhari and Vali-Asr Ave., the people have been chanting “Death to Dictator”. Thirty motorcycles and six vehicles belonging to the special unit of SSF have been stationed at northeastern corner of the Vali-Asr sq. aimed at confronting the demonstrators.

At about 10 p.m. last night, Monday February 28, the people staged their widespread nightly protests by chanting “Allah-o Akbar” and “Death to Dictator”  in various districts of Tehran including Chizar, Farmanieh, Ghaytarieh, Darrous, upper side of Pasdaran Ave. and Sadeghieh, north of Vanak sq., Vali-Asr, Shahrak-e Gharb, Saadat Abad, Mahmoudieh, Ressalat up to Argentine, as well as Pasteur, Roudaki and Jamalzadeh.

Also, in Zarrin Shahr and Najaf-Abad, the people staged nightly protests by chanting “Allah-o Akbar.  In the Shahrdari Blvd in Mahr-Shahr of Karaj, the people chanted “Allah-o Akbar” and “Death to Khamenei”.
