The Iranian Resistance while congratulating the people of Libya on their struggle for democracy against dictatorship; extends its warmest wishes for their final triumph in this path.
It is however imperative for the Iranian resistance to emphasize the necessity for comprehensive sanctions against the religious fascism ruling Iran by the UN Security Council, and the trial of Iranian officials responsible for crimes against humanity.
The Iranian regime is trying to divert the winds of democracy in the region towards religious fundamentalism.
Democratic change in Iran is a prerequisite for preventing a diversion of the democratic trend in the region.
