Seven Prisoners hanged in Iran, bringing the total number to 37 in less than a month

NCRI- The henchmen of the Iranian regime publicly hanged five prisoners in the southern city of Jiroft on bogus charges of “hooliganism and mischief,” according to the State-run daily Quds on June 6.
On May 30, the mullahs’ Fars news agency reported the hangings of two prisoners identified as Abbas Bakhshandeh and Hassan Daryayi in the cities of Neka and Nashtarood.

These and other executions reported by State-run news outlets bring the total number to 37 in less than a month. Undoubtedly, the real figures are considerably higher.

The numbers of executions and inhumane punishments have escalated dramatically since the Iranian regime unveiled its new suppressive measures in May to confront growing social dissent by Iranian students, workers, teachers, women and youths.

The Iranian Resistance calls on all international human rights organizations, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the UN Secretary General and the Security Council to condemn the arbitrary executions carried out by the Iranian regime, and implement immediate and specific measures against the brutal and systematic human rights violations in Iran.
