Regime launches Operation Nasr to further suppress the people of Kerman

NCRI – In fear of widespread popular uprisings, the mullahs’ regime has adopted more repressive measures. The measures are in line with comments by the mullahs’ Interior Minister Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi who stressed firmness in response to the growing discontent among the people of various provinces.

Brig. Gen. Gorezan, commander of State Security Forces in Kerman said, “Operation Nasr-3, which is a six-day operation conducted throughout the entire province has been launched with the objective of bringing more security, confiscating illegal arms, getting rid of the hooligans, arresting elements responsible for insecurity and narcotic traffickers, combating criminals and arresting thieves.”

He reiterated, “During this operation, 737 homes and 328 shops were searched … and 541 suspects were arrested. Some 1,585 illegal Afghan immigrants were arrested and taken to Afghan [refugee] camp to be deported from the country later on.”

The Iranian Resistance calls on all international human rights organizations to condemn the suppressive measures adopted by the mullahs’ regime against the Iranian people.
