Mullahs’ regime introduces new suppressive “Chastity Headquarter” in Iran

NCRI – The Iranian inhuman regime has created a new suppressive organ in the Iranian Organization of Physical Education (IOPE) called “Chastity Headquarter” and has appointed Abdolreza Savar as its director.

Deputy Cultural, Legal, and Parliamentary Affairs, Hossein Ali-Abadi in the IOPE, in Savar’s nomination ceremony said, “Considering Chastity and Islamic codes’ place among the personnel of IOPE, and the instructions by the President in regards with the special position of chastity in government offices, I appoint you as the director of the Chastity Headquarters.” (Mehr news agency, March 27)

In past thirteen months, this has been the twelfth police force which has been set up to suppress popular uprisings and demonstrations. The previous forces are as follows: District Police, Youth Police, Dormitory Police, Undercover Police, Mountain Police, Mehr Police, Metro Police, School Police, Women’s Police, Tourism Police, and Customs police. The purpose of these forces is to combat the volatile state of the society.
