Mullahs’ regime introduces new suppressive “Bureau of Undercover Special Police” in Iran

NCRI – A commander of the State Security Forces (SSF) announced the new formation of “Bureau of Undercover Special Police” in Iran, the state-run news agency Fars reported on October 19.

The SSF commander Brig. Gen. Qorbanali Alimardani said, “To expedite the judicial proceedings for the violators, since the beginning of [the Iranian month of] Aban (next November), the Bureau of Undercover Special Police will start its operations. This plan will be fully operational before the end of March.”

In past 20 months, this has been the twelfth police task force which has been set up to suppress popular uprisings and demonstrations. The previous forces are as follows: District Police, Youth Police, Dormitory Police, Undercover Police, Mountain Police, Mehr Police, Metro Police, School Police, Women’s Police, Tourism Police, and Customs Police.
