Mullahs’ agents abduct student activist

Nationwide uprising in Iran – Statement 76

NCRI – Student activists and youths are being abducted by agents of the mullahs’ regime as a new tactic to counter the Iranian people’s nationwide uprising.

Abed Tavancheh, a student at Tehran’s Amirkabir University of Technology and an activist, disappeared a week ago and his fate is not yet known. He had previously been jailed for eight months in Arak prison for his activities and consequently expelled from the university.

The Iranian Resistance calls on all human rights organizations and relevant United Nations rapporteurs to intervene and pursue the case of the disappeared youths and students in Iran and save their lives.
