More suppressive measure in winter

NCRI – Ahmad Reza Radan, chief of the State Security Forces (SSF) for the greater Tehran, announced a new plan for "boosting the public security" in the winter.

"Tight pants tucked inside long boots while wearing short overcoats, wearing short shawls or scarves which do not cover the entire hair are against Islamic codes and the police will deal with those using such outfits," said Radan in an interview with the official news agency IRNA on Saturday.

The SSF commander in greater Tehran publicized the successive stages of the so-called "public security," which started last April. However, it is for the first time that the mullahs’ regime clamps down on women and youths under the pretext of combating immodesty by those violating the Islamic dress codes in winter.

Such suppressive measures only describe the regime’s apprehension of popular uprisings. Those desperate tactics have backfired when it comes to women and youths participating in anti-government protests and demonstrations in Iran.
