Mass Execution of Prisoners in Iran: 9 Executions on Sunday; 78 Executions in Three Weeks

Fearing the surge of dissent and aiming to instill fear and terror while preventing the inevitable downfall, the regime, led by Khamenei, ruthlessly executes prisoners, pushing them en masse into the clutches of the gallows. On Sunday, November 12, the oppressive regime carried out executions, claiming the lives of seven prisoners in Shiraz Central Prison, one in Jiroft, and another in Isfahan Central Prison.

On Saturday, November 11, the regime’s judiciary hanged five prisoners, with the news of the execution of 3 of them announced in the NCRI statement on the same day. Additionally, Reza Arbabzehi in Zahedan Central Prison, Amin Barkzehi (Nourzehi) in Saravan Prison, and Hojatollah Qarabiglou in Zanjan Central Prison fell victim to the regime’s executioners. Consequently, the recorded number of executions in the past three weeks has reached a staggering 78 cases.

The wave of heinous executions only serves to further intensify the explosive anger and hatred of the Iranian society against the regime. The inaction of the United Nations, the European Union, and member states in the face of the world’s leading torturer and executioner in the 21st century is shameful. The cost of appeasement with the bloodthirsty rulers is evident, as the people of Iran endure more imprisonment, torture, and execution, while the people of the region suffer from increased slaughter and devastation.
