Iranian Resistance warns of execution of political prisoners in Iran

Iranian Resistance warns of execution of political prisoners in Iran A number of political prisoners, among them supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), who have been imprisoned by the Iranian regime for years, have disappeared, according to their families and other prisoners.

Following the referral of the clerical regime’s nuclear file to the UN Security Council, prison guards had threatened Mojahedin prisoners that they would all be executed. Meanwhile, there are reports that Mr. Hojjat Zamani, a Mojahedin prisoner, imprisoned since 2001, has disappeared.

The Iranian Resistance calls on all human rights advocates throughout the world to condemn the Iranian regime and to intervene to save the lives of political prisoners in Iran who face execution. It also demands that the UN Security Council review the clerical regime’s record of extensive and gross violations of human rights, including 120,000 political executions, as well as its terrorist crimes abroad. The leaders of the religious terrorist dictatorship ruling Iran must stand trial in an international tribunal for their crimes against the Iranian people.
