Iran: Three prisoners hanged in Shiraz and Zahedan

NCRI – Following the new waves of arbitrary executions, the mullahs’ regime hanged a prisoner identified as Ramin in the southern city of Shiraz, the official new agency IRNA reported on Wednesday.
The regime hanged two other prisoners, without revealing their identities, in the southeastern city of Zahedan, the state-run news agency ISNA reported on the same day. In past 24 hours, according to the government-run media outlets, 24 prisoners were executed in Iran.

Six prisoners have been transferred to Evin Prison from Gohardasht Prison on Wednesday to face gallows today, they were told by the officials. One of them is identified as Qafar Mokhtari.

In the past month alone, in a move to suppress popular uprisings and demonstrations, the regime has hanged more than 80 prisoners under the pretext of “hooligans and thugs,” according to the state-run media reports.

The Iranian Resistance called on all international human rights organizations to condemn the human rights violation and the increasing number of arbitrary executions by the medieval regime in Iran. It called for referral of the regime’s human rights record to the U.N. Security Council for urgent action.
