Three publically hanged in Karaj in three locations

Four Prisoners Including 2 Women Condemned to Inhumane Punishment of Stoning to Death in Tabriz

Fearing a surge of popular uprisings and only 3 days after Mullahs’ parliament’s vote of confidence for Rouhani’s cabinet, the anti-human regime of mullahs—in a cruel and rare measure—publicly hanged three prisoners in various locations of the city of Karaj on the morning of Sunday August 18.

These prisoners were hanged in Taleghani Square of the Resaalat suburb (Azimiyeh), Karim Abad of Mohammad Shahr, and Fardis regions of Karaj. To further instill fear in the community, the government-controlled media and websites have extensively distributed images of these brutal hangings.

Meanwhile, 4 prisoners, including 2 women, have been sentenced to be stoned to death in the city of Tabriz. High court of Mullahs’ Judiciary rejected the appeals by two of these prisoners, and by issuing its final verdict, placed them on the stoned-to-death row.

On Saturday August 17, mullah Alavi, the Intelligence Minister in Rouhani’s Cabinet reiterated that: “My priority in the Intelligence Ministry is ‘security.’”

He added: “We have to further realize security through unknown soldiers’ of the Messiah [a term used by the regime to refer to Intelligence Ministry’s henchmen] so that the people can live with more comfort and tranquility.”

In describing suppression under the guise of “security”, he said: “The bedrock of all social, cultural, political, economic, and research activities is security” [State-run website Tabnak – August 17, 2013.]
