NCRI – The mullahs' regime hanged two prisoners without naming them in a prison in the central city of Isfahan on Sunday, the website of state broadcasting reported.

Four prisoners were hanged in public by the regime in the southern city of Borazjan in the port province of Bushehr. The four were not indentified by the mullahs' judiciary.

Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi, chief of the regime's judiciary in a directive banned all public hangings in January. However, in a move to suppress the growing popular uprisings and demonstrations, the religious fascism ruling in Iran has hanged the prisoner in public in Borazjan.

Separately, on July 10, the Iranian regime hanged a prisoner identified as Ahmad Khalaj in the central prison in the Kurdish city of Sanandaj. He was wounded and was not able to stand up at the time of hanging. Such crimes are against all international human rights standards governing the world.

Emphasizing that silence and inaction by the international community over the brutal violation of human rights in Iran emboldens the mullahs to continue and expand its crimes, the Iranian Resistance calls on the UN Secretary General, Security Council, High Commissioner for Human Rights and other competent international bodies to take urgent measures to prevent growing trend of executions in Iran. It also calls for immediate referral of the clerical regime's human rights dossier to the UN Security Council for adoption of binding measures.
