Iran regime secretly producing P2 centrifuges

Iran regime secretly producing P2 centrifugesNCRI – The Iranian regime is secretly producing P2 centrifuges in violation of the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. The information on the mullahs’ secret nuclear activities were unveiled at a press conference in Paris by the National Council of Resistance of Iran this morning.

The NCRI’s Foreign Affairs Committee Chair, Mr. Mohammad Mohaddessin, revealed a new secret company and a new secret site in Tehran producing P1 and P2 centrifuges.

Mr Mohaddessin said, “About a year ago, a company by the name of ‘Iran Centrifuge Technology Company’, known as TSA, was set up and is currently producing P1 and P2 centrifuges. This company plays a very important role in the regime’s nuclear activities and the regime has kept it secret. The company’s Chair, Jafar Mohammadi, is a top expert in the manufacture of centrifuges. He was transferred to TSA from the Ministry of Defense.

“Two years ago, the International Atomic Energy Agency placed seals on two companies in Tehran by the name of Pars Tarash and Farayand Technic. These companies were involved in making centrifuges in 2002 and 2003. Information on both of them was previously revealed by the Iranian Resistance.

“The regime replaced these two companies with TSA, and all the personnel at Pars Tarash and Farayand Technic were redeployed to there.

“The office of TSA in Tehran is at the following address: Yousef Abad district, No. 1, third floor, 37th street. There is no sign indicating the office.

“Some of the parts for the P2 centrifuges are being produced in a defense research institute at the Defense Ministry, headed by Mohammad Eslami. Eslami is a veteran member of the Revolutionary Guards research directorate. He was in charge of contacts with A Q Khan in the Revolutionary Guards.

“Some of the sensitive centrifuge parts such as magnets are being bought on the black-market.”

Mr. Mohaddessin also revealed a new site which was established two years ago to assemble P2 centrifuges. “The Location of the site is on a side road about three kilometers from Tehran-Pars Junction on the Tehran-Damavand Highway (northeast Tehran). It is 600m from Kimi-Darou and Saipa companies. It consists of three large hangers,” he said.

He also provided the names of 18 experts in P1 and P2 centrifuges working in Iran.

He said, “Three months after the P5+1 offered incentives to the Iranian regime, the secretary general of the regime’s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, gave the official response. By refusing to suspend uranium enrichment, the regime unveiled once again its ominous intentions to acquire nuclear weapons. In a lengthy response, the mullahs welcomed the incentives yet asked for more.

“Production of P2 centrifuges is only one part of the regime’s secret activities. Simultaneously, the regime is increasing the number of its P1 centrifuges and smuggling banned material. Additionally, the regime is working rapidly to complete its project in Arak to produce plutonium needed to build nuclear bombs. It is working day and night to be able to produce 14 kg of plutonium annually starting from next year for making nuclear bombs.”

He called on the international community to impose immediate and comprehensive sanctions against the regime as the first step to “prevent the most dangerous regime in the world arming itself with the most dangerous weapon.”

He warned countries that sought to continue negotiations with the regime and prevent the imposition of sanctions, “If the mullahs acquire a nuclear bomb these countries would stand to lose far more than their economic interests. Our neighbors and Arab countries are going to be the prime losers of nuclear-armed mullahs.”
