Iran – Photo: Nine prisoners hanged in Shiraz, six in public

NCRI – In a barbaric act, the anti-human clerical regime hanged 9 prisoners on Tuesday. Six of these prisoners (in two groups of four and two) were publicly hanged to create an atmosphere of terror in the society. The other three were executed in the dreaded Adel-Abad prison of Shiraz.

The clerical regime ruling Iran has executed 82 prisoners in public and in prisons in thirteen days (February 19 – March 3). This is while information on many executions never reaches outside prisons.

The Iranian Resistance calls on the international community and all human rights bodies to urgently act to stop executions in Iran.
