Iran: Mullahs pave the way for more suppression and executions

Mullahs pave the way for more suppression and executionsQorban-Ali Dori-Najafabadi, the regime’s Prosecutor General and former Minister of Intelligence, said, "I hope that by dispatching deputy Prosecutor General to Sistan and Baluchistan province, we would establish complete security there,” according to the state-run daily Qods.

By labeling the people who staged uprisings in Sistan and Baluchistan and Azeri provinces as terrorists he said, "Through the efforts made by the State Security Forces (SSF), several terrorists in Sistan and Baluchistan province were killed.” He reiterated that in Khuzistan province, "The main terrorists arrested and their files have been sent to judicial authorities for review.”

Similar to all other leaders of the ruling clerical dictatorship in Iran, he attributed people’s uprisings and demonstrations to foreigners and said, "Insecurity in borders, nationalism, incidents in Sistan and Baluchistan, Khuzistan and Azerbaijan are all problems which have been instigated by the foreigners…Insecurity in the borders…have some links out of the country.”

Najaf-Abadi’s remarks pave the way for more suppression and executions. The Iranian Resistance warns all human rights organizations specially the ongoing session of the United Nations Human Rights Council that the medieval mullahs’ regime is preparing for more crackdown on the Iranian people and calls for urgent measures to prevent more executions in Iran.
