NCRI – On September 18, the state-run news agency ISNA quoted Gholam-Hossein Esmaili, the Mullahs' prosecutor in Mashhad as saying that there were more than 500 drugs traffickers on death row. The prisoners are convicted of drug related charges; however, the actual figure is much higher than what was reported, according to Esmaili.

The chief of the State Security Forces— mullah's suppressive police –- in the southern city of  Dashtistan said in an interview with state-run daily Payame Asaloyeh that there were 150 inmates  facing the gallows in the city with only 250,000 inhabitants.

The mullah's regime faced with increasing popular protests has turned to more executions.

The Iranian Resistance calls on UN secretary General, the UN high commissioner for human Rights and all humanitarian Organisations to condemn the Mullah's inhuman regime for the rising number of executions.
