Iran: Maryam Rajavi calls for solidarity with students’ uprising

Iran: Maryam Rajavi calls for solidarity with students' uprising NCRI – Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance, hailed the student uprising in Tehran University and reiterated that the spread of the protests to other universities across the country is indicative of the Iranian people’s deep-seated rejection of the religious fascism ruling Iran and the people’s desire for an end to the illegitimate regime in Tehran.

Mrs. Rajavi called on students and teachers throughout the country and Tehran residents to back the students in their uprising.

Addressing the international community and the European Union in particular, Mrs. Rajavi said that while cries of freedom could be heard from all over Iran and in view of the unprecedented wave of public hangings and mass executions, appeasement of the clerical regime amounts to collaboration in the suppression of Iranian people’s freedom and their rights.
