Iran: Mansour Osanlou’s health is deteriorating

Mansour OsanlouNCRI – Mr. Mansour Osanlou, President of Syndicate of Workers of Tehran and Suburbs Bus Company (SWTSCB), health is deteriorating in the hands of the mullahs' regime jail keepers, according to the Resistance sources in Iran. He is suffering from a number of illnesses which have not received proper medical attention while in custody.

On November 2, Osanlou was scheduled to be transferred from the notorious Gohardasht prison, 40 kilometer west of the capital to Labafi-Nejad Hospital in Tehran.

He was to undergo medical treatment for his eyes and heart dysfunction there. However, the prison guards intended to take him to another hospital which caused his protest. The jail keepers returned Osanlou to the cell where he was severely beaten for his refusal.

Osanlou is reportedly suffering from eye, kidney and heart ailments as well as back pain.

The Iranian Resistance calls on all international human rights organizations and labor unions to condemn suppression and torture of political prisoners by the Iranian regime and to take urgent measures to free Osanlou.
