Iran: Intelligence Minister’s bogus show of strength in fear of popular uprisingIntelligence Minister’s bogus show of strength

In a bogus show of strength, the Minister of Intelligence and Security of the mullahs’ regime Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ezhei said, “We have monitored all foreign and domestic enemy movements,” and are “prepared” to act swiftly “in response” to any  unrest by the people.

Touching on the role of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) in a crackdown on a demonstration by women in Tehran on June 2, Mohseni-Ezhei admitted, “In cooperation with other security apparatuses, the MOIS neutralized the unrest. Those involved in the disturbances in line with the enemy’s wishes were arrested and handed over to the judicial forces.”

Referring to the uprising by hundreds of thousands of people in the northwestern town of Tabriz, he said, “Regarding the daily Iran, not only were we not passive, but we were quite active in the seen.”

The ridiculous show of strength by the clerical regime’s Intelligence Minister confirms once again the regime’s growing fear of people’s uprisings in various cities in Iran .
