Iran: Intelligence Minister sets stage for pressure on Iranian refugees and dissidents

NCRI – Weakened by recent uprisings in the provinces and demonstrations across the country, the clerical fascism ruling Iran has attributed the protests to foreign elements.

The Minister of Intelligence and Security Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ezhei expressed fear that “the enemy is trying to sow divisions among the people and their government.” He claimed, “A number of the instigators of the unrests are located over the borders and we have begun to make them lose hope in their tactics.”

The head of the mullahs’ ministry notorious for murder and espionage referred to deals between the ruling clerical fascism and several other countries. He said, “Through the Foreign Ministry, we are in contact with the governments of countries where these people are residing or have fled to or from where they are being directed. We have tried to convince these countries to hand them over to the Islamic Republic or at least restrict their activities.”

The remarks by the Intelligence Minister are aimed at spreading internal suppression to Iranian refugees and dissidents who live abroad.

While reiterating international principles and laws and the sacred right of asylum and the inalienable right of an individual to freedom of speech, the Iranian Resistance warns against any dealings with the medieval regime ruling Iran and holds these governments responsible for the safety and security of millions of Iranian refugees living outside of Iran. The mullahs should not be allowed to turn foreign soils into a breeding ground for their notorious intelligence agents.
